Coming out next week is Eric Clapton LA Forum 1990 (Beano-022). This is from the May 1st, 1990 show at the LA Forum which also features George Harrison on the encores.
Black Sabbath To Do Or Die (Power Gate-260) documents the May 21st, 1986 Sheffield performance.
Crystal Cat have new releases out including:
A couple of new releases from the Crystal Cat label. The first is a new version of the Max’s Kansas City tapes from January 31 1973, from a new upgraded source, and the other a further release from the 2007 European Magic Tour in Cologne. I have no information on any possible bonus tracks at the present time, and both should be released by mid May. The track listings of these shows are as follows (though the 1973 is an educated guess to be honest!)
Max’s Kansas City, New York 31 January 1973: MARY QUEEN OF ARKANSAS; BISHOP DANCED; CIRCUS SONG; SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT; DOES THIS BUS STOP AT 82nd STREET?; THUNDER CRACK; SAGA OF THE ARCHITECT ANGEL; SONG OF THE ORPHANS
Cologne, Germany 13 December 2008: RADIO NOWHERE; THE TIES THAT BIND; LONESOME DAY; GYPSY BIKER; MAGIC; REASON TO BELIEVE; BECAUSE THE NIGHT; SHE’S THE ONE; LIVIN’ IN THE FUTURE; THE PROMISED LAND; WAITIN’ ON A SUNNY DAY; THE RIVER; I’LL WORK FOR YOUR LOVE; DEVIL’S ARCADE; THE RISING; LAST TO DIE; LONG WALK HOME; BADLANDS; GIRLS IN THEIR SUMMER CLOTHES; KITTY’S BACK; BORN TO RUN; DANCING IN THE DARK; AMERICAN LAND; SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN
Two new releases from the Crystal Cat label that will feature the two Paris concerts in February 2008. The first night will be a two-disc set with bonus tracks from the Amsterdam shows on the same tour, while the second night will be a three disc set (but will sell for the same price as a two-disc set) which will also feature Pegi Young’s set and further bonus tracks from the Amsterdam shows. The source tapes are reportedly stunning audience recordings and the releases are set for release by the middle of May. The track listings of these two shows are as follows:
PARIS FIRST NIGHT (14th February 2008)
ACOUSTIC SET: FROM HANK TO HENDRIX; AMBULANCE BLUES; SAD MOVIES; A MAN NEEDS A MAID; NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW; HARVEST; JOURNEY THROUGH THE PAST; MELLOW MY MIND; LOVE ART BLUES; DON’T LET IT BRING YOU DOWN; COWGIRL IN THE SAND; OUT ON THE WEEKEND
BAND SET: MR SOUL; DON’T CRY NO TEARS; DIRTY OLD MAN; SPIRIT ROAD; BAD FOG OF LONELINESS; WINTERLONG; OH, LONESOME ME; THE BELIEVER; NO HIDDEN PATH; CINNAMON GIRL; LIKE A HURRICANE
PARIS SECOND NIGHT (15 February 2008)
ACOUSTIC SET: FROM HANK TO HENDRIX; AMBULANCE BLUES; SAD MOVIES; A MAN NEEDS A MAID; NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW; TRY; HARVEST; AFTER THE GOLDRUSH; MELLOW MY MIND; LOVE ART BLUES; THE NEEDLE AND THE DAMAGE DONE; HEART OF GOLD
BAND SET: MR SOUL; DON’T CRY NO TEARS; DIRTY OLD MAN; SPIRIT ROAD; BAD FOG OF LONELINESS; WINTERLONG; OH, LONESOME ME; THE BELIEVER; NO HIDDEN PATH; CINNAMON GIRL; ROCKIN’ IN THE FREE WORLD; THE SULTAN
Two new sets from the Crystal Cat label, containing, I believe, live shows from 2004 and 2007. These are due to be available by mid May.
