Godfather have announced their latest set of releases for May.  George Harrison & Ravi Shankar Beatle Hari’s Nod To Ravi (GR 643/644) which contains the November 22nd, 1974 Fort Worth show.  This is one of the very few tapes to documenet the entire show, including the Shankar set. 

Beady Eye Sons Of The Stage (GR 645) is a one disc title covering various recent appearnces including the Japan Tsunami Benefit Gig in April. 

Bob Dylan And The Rolling Thunder Revue Out On The Road (GR 646) contains two soundboard fragments on one disc from the 1975 RTR.

U2 This Show Will Last Forever (GR 647/648) contains the U2 radio broadcast from Sao Paolo, Brazil. 

David Bowie Toy – The Lost Album (GR 649) contains Bowie’s unreleased 2002 LP which was recently leaked online.

And finally The Beatles The Year Of Revolt & Other Changes (GR 650) contains the Peter Seller’s tape along with various 1968 white album outtakes.

The Dylan title contains the uncirculated..until now a partial Sbs from Lowell 75.

From what I understand, a month or so ago, this partial Dylan RTR SBD from Lowell 1975 was posted on Wolfgang’s Vault. It appears that ~2h of the show is available on that site. However, GR 646 looks like it has all the available Dylan tracks (from ‘When I Paint My Masterpiece’ to ‘I Shall Be Released’). Perhaps WV will release the second half of the concert in due time… Godfather also includes 5 tracks from Montreal 1975.

I was going to suggest that this looks like one of the best batch of releases from the Don yet but then they’re always a good bet. Unlike the rest of the world I’m still to hear the ‘Toy’ album & I’m pleased it’s finally being released on silverdisk.

Excellent choice of titles by the folks of Godfather! Fantastic that the lost Bowie Toy-album is now available on silverdisc! And a rare Dylan 1975 soundboard, U2 fm recording, George Harrison, another Bruce boxset: Hey, that’s like birthday and Christmas together the same day! Thanks Godfather!

And in this great line up it is even forgotten to mention that they have a 2nd release in a very small run of the long sold out KISS NOT FOR THE INNOCENT outtakes Collection out in May also! That’s one of their best KISS releases with high quality KISS outtakes from the 70′s unavailable elsewhere!
