Lighthouse have an interesting mix of releases this week.  The Rolling Stones Chicago 1981 (no label) is a remaster and re-pitch of the soundboard of the November 23rd, 1981 Rosemont Horizon show in Chicago, Illinois.

Rainbow Back To Front (Calm & Storm 020) features the Nagoya-shi Kokaido, Nagoya, Japan show from January 11th, 1978.

Deep Purple Bristol 1971 (Darker Than Blue 152/153) contains the September 30th, 1971 show at the Colston Hall in Bristol, UK.

Asakusa Rock (Calm & Storm 021) has the Asakusa International Theater, Tokyo, Japan show from June 22nd, 1981.

Adn finally, Play Rough Tonight (Calm & Storm 022) has a rare Night Ranger bootleg.  This has a previously unreleased Miracle Man tape of the NHK Hall, Tokyo, Japan show from December 10th, 1983.

If you liked this review, buy me a cup of joe. (Suggested: $3 a shot or $7.5 for a double)

  1. Yeah the WGV download it is a mutlitrack not a SB and is better than the old SB in circulation which leads me to believe it is not the old SB remastered which was my question…so is this the WGV download or the old SB that is the question.

  2. The Wolfgang’s Vault is the November 23rd 1981 Chicago soundboard.

  3. Are you sure the Stones 81 Chicago release is not the recent Wolfgangs Vault release? I have the mp3 and it is a big upgrade over the old SB
