During the week two interesting new boxsets appeared on market. The Who Japan Tour 2008 is a ten-disc boxset limited to 100 copies only. It contains five concerts (Nov. 13 Osaka Castle Hall, Osaka, Japan, Nov. 14 Yokohama Arena, Yokohama, Japan, Nov. 16 Saitama Super Arena, Saitama, Japan, Nov. 17 Budokan, Tokyo, Japan, Nov. 19 Budokan, Tokyo, Japan) all sourced from excellent quality DAT tapes.
Tarantura have released The Song Remains The Same, a three disc boxset containing an edit of the soundboard sources. We’ll have more detailed information later, but the artwork on the packaging looks beautiful.
