Both Tarantura and Mid Valley have releases now available. On Tarantura, Led Zeppelin Fortune Teller is another re-release of the September 2nd, 1970 Oakland show. Hopefully we’ll see if it’s an improvement over the definitive Wendy release Blueberry Hill II. Also, Mannheim 80 is a combination of the audience and soundboard recordings for one of the Mannheim, Germany shows from Zeppelin’s final tour. Mid Valley released Clapton & Dr. John “Duets”. This is a re-release of the May 9th, 1996 Roseland Ballroom television broadcast of Clapton’s show of duets with Dr. John. And finally, Mid Valley released Rolling Stones & Clapton “Brown Sugar Carnival,” a special priced single CD sampler containing Clapton’s sessions with the Rolling Stones. If you liked this review, buy me a cup of joe.
