The Beatles UK EP Collection Volume 1 – Mono + UK EP Collection Volume 2 – Mono/Stereo UK EP Collection – Volume 1 [73:25] UK EP Collection – Volume 2 [75:38] The Beatles – UK EP Collection – Vol. 1 (Mono Compilation) was originally released by Dr. Ebbetts [EPC-CD044] in 2000 with excellent sound quality on silver CDR with thermal printing. The Beatles – UK EP Collection – Vol. 2 (Mono/Stereo Compilation) was originally released by Dr. Ebbetts [EPC-CD045] in 2000 with excellent sound quality on silver CDR with thermal printing. DBM-060 is a flawless and excellent sounding warm and balanced mono needle drop transfer containing the Beatles first 8 U.K. mono EPs. DBM-061 is a flawless and excellent sounding mono needle drop transfer containing the 6 Beatles U.K EPs with “Magical Mystery Tour” presented in mono and stereo. The artwork for both volumes has been upgraded. Reviews of the above Dr. Ebbetts volumes have previously generated glowing reviews as compared with the commercially released collections of the same on EMI. I found that both DBM-060 + DBM-061 offered a wonderful and exquisite listening experience. The sound quality, for the most part, is breathtaking and both of these volumes come with high recommendations. The good Dr. simply cannot be denied.
