The Sabbath is at times an 8 or 9 out of ten but for the majority I would give it a solid 7. It is similar to the Iron Maiden Unleash but more in your face. The taper definitly sounds like he is moving or being pushed a bit and the crowd is rambunctious. This is my first taste of this tape but I did see that there is a shades CD-R release that I do not own and cannot compair. email me privately @ relayer67@aol.com

Great review Relayer67, as usual. Congrats!! When I first knew about this release I got excited for it having both Bill Ward – who I like way better than Vinnie Apice, and LITW. I immediately dug some information on the internet and read that the Offenback recording is pretty solid. Some collectors have rated it as a 9 out of 10 in terms of sound quality. However you mention it sounds as a good to very good audience recording. Obviously, it’s not a 9/10. As you’re the reviewer of the Iron Maiden UNLEASH THE BEAST, could you compare the quality of both recordings, please? I’m using it as an example as it’s a title that you have reviewed recently. Thanks in advance.
