Ready for release is Bob Dylan Friends And Other Strangers. This is a two disc set of the May 3rd, 1976 show at the Warehouse in New Orleans.
This is a soundboard recording coming from the genuine master tape and surpasses all other releases in sound quality. Friends And Other Strangers is packaged in a cardboard digipack and contains the non-Dylan portions of the RTR set as well.
Also now out is Genesis This Is The One! This is a two disc set with the previously uncirculated audience recording for Genesis’ April 14th, 1975 Lamb Lies Down On Broadway show from Wembley.
The April 15th show is famous for being the source of the well circulated BBC broadcast, but never before has the April 14th show ever circulated. With all the new Genesis tapes coming out of late, this is perhaps the most intriguing since nothing has ever been available for this date. There will be full reviews of both these titles soon.
And finally, Eelgrass released a three CD set called Destroyer. This is another release of the April 27th, 1977 Cleveland soundboard. Since this is a copy of Empress Valley’s Maximum Destroyer, this should be the definitive version of this often released show available for the general collector (like me!)
