I saw ELP at the Yale Bowl back in the early 70's. They only used one end of the stadium for the show so every seat was pretty good. It is in my top 5 of all time greatest concerts I attended. What I remember most vividly is ELP used a quad soundsystem and there were speakers in the stands on either side behind me. The sound was incredibly loud but crystal clear. When they did the ending of the song on Brain Salad where the sound rotates between channels it rotated around the quad setup and was mind blowing to say the least...Very under appreciated prog band IMHO...I also highly recommend the official boot box sets if you can find them as you get multiple boot leg shows, which have been professionally cleaned up, for less than the price of a single boot title.....A must for any ELP fan
