GSPARACO: You mentioned on an above comment on Feb. !4th 2009 that EV definitely is sitting on the sbd for the Seattle 21st show. Are you still sure?? It’s been more than a year waiting and still no release. Will it ever be out???

It’s been four years since this was released and sitting here now listening to the budget jewel case edition and once again still consider this one of the best 75 soundboard releases so far and do hope we one day hear the next night. I easily give this 5 stars.

Thanks for the helpful replies. I had already been slightly leaning toward(s) ordering “Flying Circus” first, then maybe the Vancouver 1975-03-19 show eventually later on, so I guess that’s probably what I’ll end up doing. And I had read about Eelgrass doing knock-offs of Empress Valley releases, but I wasn’t sure in this particular case since they used a title different from the one of EV, whereas in other cases they had used pretty-much the same title that EV used – such as for the famous “Destroyer” show. Anyway, thanks again.

Personally I think the “Flying Circus” title is better balanced then this title and a better performance but you can’t go wrong with either show…

DLee-I think it’s safe to say that all the Eelgrass titles are direct knock-offs of Empress Valley without any tinkering, etc. Eelgrass offers simple artwork, as opposed to the sometimes elaborate EV artwork and most importantly-standard prices.

Is the 3-CD “Interlude Prior to the Crunge” on the Eelgrass label an identical copy of this recording? And does anyone have a personal preference for this show over the Eelgrass 3-CD “Flying Circus”? Since this show has a setlist identical to that of “Flying Circus” except that it lacks ‘Heartbreaker’, I’ll probably prefer to go with “Flying Circus”, but if anyone suggests or recommends otherwise, I might change my preference.

Yes, Empress Valley do have the March 21st Seattle soundboard but are sitting on it for some reason.

This is a great title.
Is there any real chance that the next night in Vancouver and most importantly , the Seattle 21 show exist in SB and will someday be released?

The overall mix of this recording is fantastic. Every instrument is well balanced and well represented. Definitely grab a copy of this one.
