Mine seem to be actual factory-pressed gold original real CD's, although I haven't been able to confirm it for sure since the CDR Identifier (Version 1.63) software that I used to use on my older PC's is apparently incompatible w/ the disc burner on the new PC that I got near the end of last May. Anyway, this OMS title is a rather excellent one that I thoroughly enjoyed & is a great addition to my personal boot collection. And apparently the Westwood One host heard on the 1st show, Mark McEwen, is the same African-American (black) guy who used to help host the "CBS This Morning" show with lead co-hosts Harry Smith & the impeccably clean-looking blonde lady Paula Zahn way back in the early & mid-'90's. Thanks for the the considerably helpful review.

Using my floor lamp, I inspected my discs and they appear to be gold pressed discs and not CDRs. I really enjoyed listening to the 4 CDs and glad I picked this one up. Personally I would rather not hear the "DJ" chatter however it didn't take long for my ears to adjust and the 2nd time I gave these discs a spin, I just tuned it out. Both shows are great sound quality and the second is probably a little better. honestly I didn't really have any interest in hearing or collecting solo Waters until after I saw him perform last year. I now appreciate his solo efforts and this is a great addition to my collection. I didn't comment on the DVD since I haven't watched it yet and once I do, I will be sure to leave some comments.

Are you certain that these discs are 24k gold plated...? I think they are actually the old Kodak-style gold coloured CD-Rs. That seems to be the case with the OMS edition of Led Zeppelin's "To Be A Rock And Not To Roll" 4-disc set.
