I’m with Stuart. I think the inclusion of the Bruce duet is a nice bonus. And it is still the same year. If I should buy this set one day, it would be because of this track as I have already many concerts in great quality from this tour. But at the moment, there are so many other GR releases out there (especially those great boxsets!) that I’m not yet buying this.

The Don is obviously a big U2 fan. As with most of their releases there is a lot of work in there. I think you answered your own question with regards to the Springsteen question though, upreverend – It really doesn’t matter that it’s 4 months after the fact, it matters that it’s on there.

I enjoyed this title too. Very interesting concerts, and the sound quality isn’t bad at all.

These 2 shows in Modena are second and third ever for the band in a stadium (first was in Rome on may 27).
This is an important thing to give an appropriated “rating” to this release. We have on this triple set two historical complete shows never pressed on silver cd before. Only a few tracks from the first concert was on a very old silver release called “We are waiting for a right day” in worst sound quality.
The show of may 30 has been pressed on a double vinyl only (“A sort of homecoming”) 24 years ago but this release sounds far better (and in my opinion better than the words of this review pass on).
The packaging is beautiful: there’s a reproduction of the original concert poster plus tickets, original photos from the shows and articles from the local newspapers of the time.
This is one of the best U2 silver releases ever.
