This is a really enjoyable recording from a great 1977 show at MSG. I only wish the entire show was captured. Any collector that likes the 1977 shows will surely enjoy this release.

It’s a very good audience recording. The taper was close to the stage and he produced what is perhaps the best sounding tape from this series of concerts.

Thans for the review GS. So how would you rate this recording? is it good, VG, EX? SOunds like it is a nice sounding tape but the tapes from the 77 MSG shows were marginal at best so just curious where this sits

George Formby was very famous in England in the 1940′s for singing and playing the ukelele banjo. He had buck teeth, a strong Lancashire accent and appeared in many in comedy films.
