Walterfive, if you’re referring to EVSD’s Dinosaurs in Motion release of the Seattle shows, then that price is even more outrageous than what I recall was initially demanded for that title.

I have the House of Elrond release of this show, and it’s excellent… just got it today; appearantly some serious collector unloaded a number of his Zeppelin stash at my local used record store… fancy prices though… $250 for a seven disc Empress Valley set of both Seattle 75 shows…

and no Careful Axeman Eugene, you’re not the only Deadhead around here… the Dead Set/Led Set pun and cover parody is quite obvious to those ‘in the know’ about Dead Set.

The April 26th show has always been one of my favorites and I prefer the Tarantura compared to TDOLZ,IQ, and EVSD releases. This release has a very natural sound to my ears.

One more word about this release, and it’s only about the November 6, 1969 recording. Being that this show happened about 2 months before their historic concert at the Royal Albert Hall, there are similarities between those two shows I never heard before now. For me, the November 6th recording in this release is a revelation, and an incredible audience recording considering its vintage.

A frew words about the remarkable ride this production has been giving to me. Beginning with the killer “Train Kept A Rollin’” on April 25, 1969, through “How Many More Times” (notwithstanding its tape squeals) on November 7th of that year, Tarantura have done an incredible job for people like me who can only imagine what attending these shows could’ve been like. The picture discs are excellent, providing a glimpse of young Zeppelin on stage that stands in stark contrast to older Zep on stage about 6 years later. I look forward to continuing to enjoy these legendary concerts for some time to come.

thank you. it sure is strange to see a front cover that’s very similar to The Grateful Dead’s official double-disc ‘ Dead Set’ that was performed and recorded live in Sept-Oct 1980 at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco and Radio City Music Hall in NYC. i like Zeppelin, but i surely hope that i’m not the only Grateful Dead fan on this terrific web-site! anyways, thanx again

I just got my set in. I have not had a chance to listen to it yet, but all I can say about the packaging/presentation is . . . WOW!
