Zep played When The Levee Breaks only a handful of times and all in early 1975. It was never attempted live before then. Plant says as much in the Chicago show.

Rocky Mountain Hop is superb. regarding a sort of unrelated question, can anybody tell me whether or not the song When the Levee Breaks (last track on the 4th album) was ever played live in the early seventies? i know, partially from searching this collectors’ site, that it was played at least a few times during some early 1975 shows, but was it also ever played in any previous years, especially shows that were taped and are commercially available on CD? thanks to anybody who could tell me

Snow Jobs by EV is great – no need to get anything else…EV is pricey so if you don’t own it this would be a good addition to your collection!
