I could have done without the nature scenes and would have rather just viewed the band however this was 1970 and this type of production was very popular then. I’m once again listening to the CD which blows me away.

My only minor complaint would be the hiss but as mentioned above, once I started really focusing on the music I was able to defocus on the hiss. This is a very enjoyable CD and maybe that’s why I find myself listening to this at least 3 times a day and mostly late at night. Will watch the DVD later tonight and leave some thoughts.

I particularly enjoy the natural landscape footage partially accompanying the concert audio. It is awesome, and stunning, to view some of the extensive farm work that was caputed. And then there’s the truly trippy prelude to “Grantchester Meadows”, which is paired with sweet and innocent sounds of song birds coming from trees. The audio disc makes this a wonderful production all the way around.
