An excellent release. The version of IO is unique to others I have heard in some of the 1970 shows. Thank you for your work on this site.

Of all the great live bands from this time frame, I wonder why Floyd really hasn’t reached into its archives and released more live material the way so many others have. Must be a reason. Maybe lawyers, or maintain the mystique.

Back in the the early 80′s the only live Floyd I had was Ummagumma and a vinyl bootleg called Eclipsed so I have always loved the live half of the former.I was very pleased to see this release and after repeated listenings I am bowled over by it. The above review is spot on and I consider this to be an essential must have as so very little of pre 70 material is being released and in such stunning quality. High points in the recording are definitly Interstellar Overdrive and Set the Controls. Hopefully as GS stated more unheard material will see the light of day. A fantastic boot.

This one is meant to play LOUD!!! Fantastic sound quality of early Floyd and for those collectors that only want superb sounding material in their collection this one is for you. The artwork is well thought out even including the inserts of tapes used and works consistent with the era. The late Richard Wright comes through loud and clear on this one. I look forward to hearing more from this label.
