Quick question since this review mentions all the Paris 1976 shows: Which is the correct date of the Godfather's TOUR OF EUROPE '76 REVISITED, June 4 or June 6? Godfather's packaging lists the 4th, but this review (and the review of the show on this site) list the 6th, but neither mention that it is actually listed with the wrong date. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

This and the previous night show, on the 6th, were very intense and for me are some of the best of the 76 tour. It has been reported that the reason for this is that Keith Richards young son Tara passed away the day before. Mick Jagger wanted to cancel the shows but Keith insisted they be played and he channeled his grief into his playing those two nights. His intensity can really be seen on the excellent video on the Apocalypse label titled "Black And Blue Paris" reviewed previously on this site. If you are a Stones fan you owe it to yourself to get copies of the shows from the 6th and 7th dates....
