I think I now have 10 Springsteen releases in my collection and this now is one of my favorites. I base this opinion on performance, sound quality, and packaging.

TMOQ – San Siro Marathon was Anubis’ first release if my memory serves me well.
If it wouldn’t be for the new source and the limited factor I probably wouldn’t have bought it either, as I always will prefer silvers over CDRs (although some of the early Great Dane and Golden Stars are now almost as yellow as a CDr).
But: if you consider the logistics and the connections needed to make a silver, then it probably took them a few releases to be approached by the right persons (look at Doberman, loads of CDRs and only the one or other silver).

Hi Muegeli. Yes, just did some research on the ‘net-I never knew about this particular Anubis release. It probably is the same source as the Crystal Cat & Godfather releases. Anubis probably put out their’s first-not sure if Godfather was around in 2001.
I always found the Anubis label to be an unusual label. They always provide the top-quality artwork with their cdr releases, but I always have to trim the glossy paper to fit the jewel cases, so it never looks 100% professional. Most of their stuff is cdr, but they have releases at least 2 silver Springsteen shows. They should “go silver” all the way! I would probably have purchased more of their stuff, if they released more silvers. I’ve purchased too many “pro-cdr” releases and then have the music deteriorate. Thanks again for the info!

TMOQ – Anubis released “San Siro Marathon” in 2001 as a 3-ProCDr as a limited and numbered edtion of 99 copies. They claimed this release to be from “previously unused audience masters” and I always thought this being the source for the Crystal Cat version, too (do not have the Godfather release – this label seems impossible to get in my country)

I think the 3rd source has been released by the italian ANUBIS label on a limited CD-R version in 2001?

Also, if I remember correctly; “Hi Bruce” and “Fantastico Bruce” were two seperate audience source -”Fantastico Bruce” being the better of the two. The Godfather & C.Cat releases are of the same source-a 3rd audience source.
I see that the Milano Night/S.S.Night correction has been made-that was quick!
