It’s obviously a good seller for Tarantura – I recently picked up the 4th edition of the Mr Peach version! Fabulous. The front image is now of Blackmore trashing his guitar, whilst the rear is the image of Bonnet that was on the front of the original Mr Peach in the 4CD set.

I’ve finally managed to get this title. Unfortunately, not the 4CD set, as it is sold out. Actually I got the 3rd edition, which is a 2CD set containing Mr.Peach’s version. It’s almost SBD quality and the performance is absolutely great!! Very nice addition to my collection. Highly recommended!!

What a excellent production by Tarantura in packaging and sound quality. Thanks both to Aquarius and Mr. Peach for taping and sharing their sources with collectors. With no disrespect to Aquarius, personally I prefer the “Peach” recording since as Hager mentioned above, it’s of soundboard quality. However with saying this, both are excellent sources and Tarantura is leading the pack with Rainbow shows. Hager I also want to mention that your review above is excellent and I found myself very drawn into it and curious about this release as a result.

I’ve listened to both, but have been coming back to the Peach recording simply because it’s what’s in my cd player. It’s of soundboard quality, but with perfect atmosphere from the audience.

Tks for the great review, Hager. However, I’m still intrigued about the 2nd edition. Was it a smart decision to include only Mr.Peache’s source? Which one sounds better?
