Keith Moon Passes Out (Stringman Records SR-083/084)

Cow Palace, Daley City, CA – November 20th, 1973

Disc 1:  I Can’t Explain, Summertime Blues, My Generation, I Am the Sea, The Real Me, Punk Meets the Godfather, I’m One, Helpless Dancer, 5:15, Sea and Sand, Drowned, Bell Boy, Dr. Jimmy, Love, Rein O’er Me

Disc 2:  Won’t Get Fooled Again (Keith Passes Out), Magic Bus (Keith Passes Out again), See Me Feel Me, Smokestack Lightning / Spoonful, Naked Eye

The famous opening night of the US Quadrophenia tour in San Francisco.  Keith Moon passes out and Scott Halpin is recruited from the audience for the final numbers.

Stringman released this on professional CDR utilizing an audience recording that is a slight upgrade over the poor tape used by Mainstream about a decade ago.  This is  much better having on video.
