Unfortunately Jan Hammer thought he was the star of the show and most of this release ends up being Jan Hammer songs. This tour should have seen Jeff Beck at his creative peak in a live setting with the incomparable Wired release in the record bins, but alas, we are left wondering why Wired and Blow by Blow weren’t played and extrapolated on instead of Jan Hammer songs. Be that as it may a must have for any JB fan.
