The plundering of the Columbia archives continues with another gem to be released soon. Instead of Hollow Horn, who brought the amazing Stolen Moments and Unravelled Tales, Scorpio present a longer (but still incomplete) version of Bob Dylan’s November 1961 Carnegie Chapter Hall show.
Talkin’ New York
A new one-disc release from the Scorpio label that contains the extended version of the soundboard recording of the performance at the Carnegie Chapter Hall in November 1961.
This new extended release contains a total of 15 songs, 7 of which are new to disc, though the complete performance is reportedly 21 songs, The sound quality is excellent and the packaging features a nice 4-page booklet with appropriate photographs. Another important release in what is proving to be a bumper year for new “classic” era releases!. The track listing is as follows:
