Some notes accompanying the release: In 1998 and 1999, while Mark Knopfler was recording his second solo album, he called his other band, The Notting Hillbillies, to play a consecutive series of songs at the jazz club Ronnie Scott’s, in Birmingham and in London, being joined by several guests playing many old rock, country, and folk classic songs together. This is a selection of the highlights played during those magic nights.
