New releases!!!

The premier Bob Dylan label Tambourine Man Records released two titles from Dylan’s latest leg of the Never Ending Tour.  Laughter Down On Third Street (TMR 152/153) contains the complete Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Santa Monica, California show on September 3rd, 2008.

Heed These Modern Times (TMR 153/154) contains Dylan’s show for the Concerts on the Green at Qualcomm in San Diego on September 6th, 2008.  This title also contains bonus tracks from  New American Music Union Festival, Main Stage, South Side Works, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 9th, 2008.

SODD have two new Rolling Stones releases.  1973 European Tour (SODD 081) is a one disc title with the Forest Nationale, Brussels early show from October 17th with a bonus track from the Sportpaleis Ahoy in Rotterdam from the October 14th late show.

Shepherds Bush Empire (SODD 082/083) is a two disc release with the Shepherds Bush Empire, London, England show from June 8th 1999.

Virtuoso give a much needed overhaul to the Genesis West Palm Beach soundboard from January 10th, 1975.  Something Inside Me (Virtuoso 044/045) contains the complete show in excellent quality.

East Side West Side Blues (Shades 009) is a three disc set with Aerosmith’s February 4th, 1977 show in Fukuoka with the third disc coming from April 30th, 1976 in Waterloo, Iowa.  Both shows come from soundboard tapes.   

Kiss Bury You Alive (Shades 010) is a soundboard recording from the September 17th, 1988 show in Stockholm. 

And finally the no label people re-issued two of their Led Zeppelin titles.  Southampton University 1973 is the absolute definitive version of the well pressed show, and Destroyer is among the top releases of this common tape (and both are reviewed on this site).  Since both sold out, these are reissued limited to fifty copies and come with a sticker on the front.
