Even more great releases have come out today. The Rolling Stones First Night In Newark: Original Master Recording (no label) is a 2CD title featuring the December 13th, 2012 show from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey sourced from an excellent audience tape.
The Rolling Stones Second Night In Newark: Original Master Recording (no label) is a three disc set with the December 15th, 2012 show from the Prudential Center in Newark. Like the first night, this too is sourced from an excellent audience recording.
Tricone are adding three more titles to their expanding Eric Clapton Japan Tour 1993 series. Japan Tour 1993: How Long Blues (Tricone 083/084) is a two disc set with the October 18th, 1993 show in Osaka.
Japan Tour 1993: Kidman Blues (Tricone 085/086) covers the October 19th, 1993, also in Osaka.
Japan Tour 1993: County Jail Blues (Tricone 087/088) is a two disc with the October 21st, 1993 concert in Tokyo.
And finally, Neil Young Barstool Blues ’89 (no label) is a two disc set featuring the September 4th, 1989 show at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY.
As for the Stones’ “First Night”, its sound quality has been described as being “PERFECT SOUND”, & the “Second Night” has been described as having “**TRULY** PERFECT SOUND”. Doesn’t the Counting Records’ label 2CD version of the 2nd night show, which prob. must have both discs maxed out on total playing time(s) since the no label 3-disc version has a total playing time of approx. 163-164 minutes, questionably claim that theirs is soundboard?
