has anybody heard the Garden State ’78 release by now, or any other soundboard recording of the show? how is the quality of the performance by the Stones for this particular show? and is it a decent or good quality true soundboard? any helpful info will be appreciated…thanx
I found an MP3 link here but I’ve only listened through the speakers on my laptop so won’t comment on the disks. It’s something that I want for my own collection though – DBboots suggests a fair few releases that feature different parts of the show.
I have both the original LPs taken from this show “Out On Bail” with the rubber stamped cover a la Liver Than (and it’s ‘part two’ companion LP) — and this Garden State 78 2LP. Neither is in wide stereo. Keith is very low in the mix on both releases. Didn’t VGP release this show in better, wider stereo some years ago? Definitely some rehash going on with this No Label title.
