new TCOLZ Led Zeppelin and other good things

The Chronicles Of Led Zeppelin continue with One Night Stand In Paris (TCOLZ 029/030).  This is a two disc set of the October 10th, 1969 L’Olympia radio broadcast.  The first disc claims to be a pre-FM transfer without DJ comments and the second disc is the 2007 broadcast with DJ comments.  I’ve received several inquires already about the veracity of this claim.  As with all releases this should be taken with a grain of salt until verified which is what we’ll do next week.

Other interesting releases include two Queen 2CD silvers.  Bohemian Rhapsody (Multitraxx Records-002) and Killer Queen (Multitraxx Records-003) document all of the various tracks used in the final mix.

  1. No, it doesn’t include Moby Dick. It’s a raw transfer without DJ comments. It’s identical to the FM broadcast as it comes for the content.

  2. If nothing else, it’s nice to see that TCOLZ have taken a hint and branched out beyond the nondescript brown paper bag artwork motif used in their first few releases.

  4. I have a raw pre-FM master transfer and I am sure TCOLZ will release this to everyone’s delight.
