New titles from Wings, Queen, Genesis, Deep Purple, & Black Sabbath!

Wings – Wild Life: Unreleased DCC 24K Gold Disc (no label) is a single disc featuring a copy of the Wings record from “DCC Compact Classics, Remastered by Steve Hoffman”. This also features a few bonus tracks.

Queen – Definitive Seattle 1977 (Wardour-322) is a 2CD set from Seattle Center Coliseum, Seattle, WA on March 13th, 1977. This was also released by Wardour about 10 years ago as A Day At Seattle (Wardour-069).

Queen – New London Theatre 1977 (Wardour-321) is a single disc recorded at New London Theatre, London, UK on October 6th, 1977. Some Queen fan club members gathered to participate in the video shoot for “We Are The Champions” and were treated to a short unexpected live set afterwards. This was previously issued as Champions Shoot (Wardour-036).

Genesis – Reading Festival 1972 (Virtuoso 391) is a single disc from the Reading Festival, Reading, UK on August 11th, 1972. This features a combination of two different recordings.

Deep Purple – Definitive Philadelphia 1991 (Darker Than Blue 266/267) is a 2CD stereo soundboard from the Tower Theater, Upper Darby Township, PA on April 20th, 1991.

Black Sabbath – Pittsburgh 1976/1978: The Ultimate Edition (Zodiac 331) is a triple disc set featuring two stereo soundboard recordings from the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. Disc one comes from December 8th, 1976 and Disc two comes from September 2nd, 1978. Disc three features a few tracks from each show sourced from an “Original Broadcast Reel Master”. This has been available before as Definitive Pittsburgh (no label) but without the third disc.

Black Sabbath – Definitive Riot Act (Zodiac 332) is a 2CD set featuring shows from Mecca Arena, Milwaukee, WI, on October 9th, 1980 and Community War Memorial Auditorium, Rochester, NY on October 16th, 1980. The Milwaukee show ended in a riot after just two and a half songs.

  1. The Wings disk is a re-issue from previous – The bonus tracks were also there so, much to my delight, I shouldn’t need to buy it again. The cover looks nice though.
