News and new releases

Just the past couple of days several collectors told me they were disappointed by the lack of good new Queen titles coming out.  The Wardour label have come out of hibernation with what looks like a fantastic new Queen release.  Listen To The Mad (Wardour-058) is a two disc set featuring the April 2nd, 1976 show at the Miyagi-ken Sports Center in Sendai, Japan.  This is probably from the first generation transfer that surfaced several months ago.  Let’s hope that Wardour corrected the pitch since, according the great Queen Live site, it runs a semitone fast.

Wishbone Ash Time Will Pass Away features the January 19th, 1974 Passaic, NJ and the November 16th, 1976 Long Beach tapes.

Finally Rolling Stones 5th Night at MSG 1975 is a two disc set with the June 26th, 1975 New York show.
