From a brand new label, ‘Aunties Nuggets’ comes a new set of upgraded BBC pieces, updating some of what we know to exist – A 2 CD set, this comp features familiar works in new, upgraded versions. The label have been shy as to where these sources come from but we can only assume they have managed to dig up something that’s just that little bit more special.
The HMC label have also posted news of their latest TMOQ gazette release – Paul McCartney’s rehearsals for Jools Holland’s annual Hootananny (Broadcast on UK TV every year to ring in the New Year) recorded in, er, June 2007.
Over two CDs we have over 90 minutes of new material featuring some seriously lengthy rehearsals along with the audio that was broadcast on the night.
