As the release of Peter Jackson’s ‘Get Back’ film gets ever nearer, the boot labels are gearing up to fill your collections with new compilations. The DAP label have recently brought out two new issues. There’s nothing brand new on these comps, however, they’re produced with the archives in mind.
‘Complete Apple Masters’ is 8 disks worth of multi-track masters produced by Glyn Johns. Not to be confused with the Nagra recordings which were recorded in mono, these takes were all recorded in stereo.
‘Complete Rooftop Concert – All Camera Rolls compilation’, a 3 CD set that features all the material recorded by all 4 cameras on the day, The Ron Furmanek mixes and the complete recording from multi tracks.
