This show took place at the Olympiastadion, Berlin, Germany on the 12th July, 2017.
The 2 CD sets both feature the same artwork tweaked to change their titles.

The Smilin’ Ears label have reissued Wings’ shows from ‘Manchester ’73’ (The Hardrock Concert Theatre, Manchester, UK, 17th May, 1973) with the show from City Hall, Sheffield, UK 4th July 1973 as a “bonus” disk.

Also, ‘Newcastle ’73’ (Recorded at the City Hall, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK 10th July 1973 – a stereo soundboard with audience recording inserts) and a mono audience recording of he same on the second disk.

The label have also packaged the CDs together with a bonus CDR of the Leeds show (Leeds University, Leeds, UK, 19th May, 1973) with patches taken from the vintage boot LP, “Leeds England” (King Kong Records / PM-1050)

The budget label, Moonchild, have released the Eric Clapton 2 CD set, “New York City Night”, recorded at Madison Square Garden, New York City, NY. July 13th 1974. Originally seeded on Dime, “This is the lowest generation ever copy of this soundboard recording. The master tapes having been “borrowed” from a well-known sound engineer during the early ’80s and transferred. When the original owner had no further use of the tapes he gave me a whole batch of them, and they have remained uncirculated in this form and quality until now.” this is the first, and quickest, silver press of this CD.

The Speak Ezy label have produced a Pink Floyd title, ‘Colmar 1974’ recorded at the Parc des Expositions, Colmar, France 22nd June, 1974.

  1. Hi,
Have you a favorite from all the U2 Joshua Tree releases (so far)? I’d love to own one but can’t really decide yet. Thanks!

    • Huh, good question, John. I’ve still a few reviews to work through from this tour at the moment but, at time of writing, if you want the tour show well played and no bells or whistles, the first EV release from this year is excellent, though marred by the over excessive count-ins, the second show (‘Take The Fucking Roof Off’) is a little cleaner.
That said, the Rattlesnake set, ‘Sing Your Heart Out Amsterdam’ is awesome and shows off the band as incredibly reactive showmen so at this very moment, I’d suggest that until we hear the others.

  2. Anybody familiar with the Colmar gig?
