The Berlin show of Slaves & Sessions is taken of a private recording that is circulating for years and worth a release on silver factory CD. The quality is good (+) and all instruments and vocals can be heard clearly. Maybe the sound misses some bass, but everyone can regulate that on the receiver. Because of technical problems during the beginning of “Truth Hurts” Ritchie Blackmore stretches the intro of the song which is more than 10 minutes long in the end. Some of the bonus tracks were released on the sought after The Battle Of Slaves And Masters – CD in the mid 90’s, but the Jam Session # 4 and Jam Session # 5 (with a duration of nearly 8 minutes of each song) are unreleased so far. By the way, all cover photos are from the original show in Berlin. (Truppi)
