To coincide with the latest reunion of Cliff Richard with The Shadows (“Reunited for the very last time!” the posters surrounding the O2 Arena in London proclaimed), King Snake released the Together video from 1984. Taped over several nights at the NEC in Birmingham, this was the second reunion since they broke up in the late sixties and their first time performing together in six years. King Snake do a great job in making available on DVD this video which has been out of print for a long time now.
Cliff Richard And The Shadows have had much influence upon British popular music dating back to the late fifties. They play all of the hits including “Move It” and “We Don’t Talk Anymore.” Plus a number of Shadows tracks, including “Wonderful Land,” “Deerhunter Theme (Cavatina)” and and “F.B.I.” Richard appreciates the audience’s support, saying after “Summer Holiday” that they do not take their career for granted. Together 1984 is packaged in a DVD digipack.
