  1. i don’t know how much of an upgrade, if it is in fact at all, that Deep Purple 2CD “Munich 1973” will be over the Tarantura version that was released not too long ago, but the Tarantura version is at least rather decent.

unrelatedly, anybody know if there are any at least decent studio (rarities, outtakes, demos, alt. versions, remixes, etc.) CD releases (unofficially-released factory-pressed original silver (or gold)) of either Rush or AC/DC? i’ve never been able to find any so far, so any help or advice will be appreciated…thankx

    • so, due to there being no response at all, should i take it that there are absolutely no decent Rush or AC/DC boot studio CD releases whatsoever?!

  2. WYWH and Animals out-takes *again*? The same source but processed slightly differently? Is that what Sigma is giving us here?

    • I told that many times before – avoid the crappy Sigma titles! Most if not all of them are just straight rips from freely available torrents! They’re EQ and mastered in a very amateurish way, and they’re sounding much worse than raw sources. I wouldn’t vote for anyone’s choices but if you’re looking for some true bootlegs, go for the Eat A Peach titles. Not every source released by Sigma is also released by them but at least, when you get the EaP product, you can get not only professionally mastered audio but you have also a good edited tape, where all the tape issues are either completely removed or minimalized up to the point where they’re just marginal.

    • I’m intrigued. I didn’t really care for the new Floyd, but I wanna hear this.
