New releases on WOW

THE JACK BRUCE BAND – IN CONCERT   Today is your lucky day. You get Jack Bruce’s ROCKPALAST show that is not on the “official”  2DVD set. We are talking about his 50th Birthday Concert taped in Cologne, Germany, in 1993. The show is much longer than the three other Rockpalast shows on the double disc set and features too many guest stars to list including Ginger Baker, Gary Moore and many others.

THE WARREN HAYNES BAND / GOV’T MULE – A NICE PAIR   First we have Warren Haynes live in New York in 1992. This is the earliest known pro-shot to me and is not on any Mule/Allmans trade list. The second part is Gov’t Mule live in Sao Paulo in 1995. For all insomniacs, the added bonus are two rare tracks on The Carson Daly Show.

ROBERT PLANT & ALISON KRAUSS – ROBERT & ALISON   Three TV concerts. With Alison in Tennessee in 2007. At The Hollywood Rock Festival in Rio in 1997 and in Serbia in 2007. Excellent from start to finish.

THE POLICE – LIVE IN JAPAN 2008   From Japanese Wow Wow TV. Same quality as the Bon Jovi so you know it cannot get any better. The very very special bonus is The Police live in Los Angeles in 1980 as part of the Don Kirshner Rock Concert series. This show has never been out anywhere in watchable quality and this here is great.

WHITESNAKE – RESTLESS HEART WORLD TOUR 1997   From Argentina-TV live in Buenos Aires complete show. Bonus: Live in Milan in 1994 as broadcast on Italian TV.

STEVE WINWOOD – ROCKPALAST   Legendary broadcast of the Loreley show from 1997 never out before in superb quality. The bonus is the complete Austin City Limits telecast from 2003.

STEVE WINWOOD & ERIC CLAPTON – CONCERT   Two complete shows at Madison Square Garden in 2008 that differ widely from each other. There is a three-page review of the splendid performances in the most recent issue of Uncut magazine so you can read yourself how spectacular these concerts were.

WISHBONE ASH – ROCKPALAST   Very rare and very early TV broadcast live from Cologne, Germany, in 1976 !!! You have not seen that show in this quality before. The bonus is Wishbone Ash live in Paris as broadcast on French TV.
