  1. Clapton at the Beeb!
    • Pros
    • New high quality master on silver disc
    • Cons
    • A bit disappointing that a DVD of the performance is not included to go with the audio as a complete set.

It is great to see Clapton’s excellent performance on the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 is receiving a definitive cd release. I am surprised this show has not been issued officially yet. But I don’t understand why the ever reliable Beano label are not including a DVD of the TV broadcast in the package. However, I will happily snap up the BBC master recording for now!

    • Just an additional note: I am pleased to report that some copies of this release do actually include a bonus dvdr featuring an upgraded video of the TV broadcast.
