Help Studio Sessions Back To Basic on Extract Factory is a silver pressed edition of the Help! sessions in the fan produced Back To Basic series. It anthologizes the best available sources from all of the existing studio sessions and rare mixes from the era. All tapes have been remastered to repair drop-outs, phase and speed issues.
As comprehensive as it is, it doesn’t include officially released mixes, and the Help! monitor mixes are also omitted. The former to avoid claims of piracy, and the latter because they really add nothing new or interesting to the set. Only the rare fragments from these monitor mixes have been selected for this set, these have been carefully edited with the best sources for the most complete recordings.
Overall this is one of the most impressive Beatle outtake collections assembled.
