Awesome to see this excellent site finally back up again! Anybody remember roughly when it went down? Was it November or December 2023? Apparently it could have been as early as early Nov. or as late as late Dec.

    • Sorry, I didn’t want to bring this up (sorry again), but unfortunately this place could feel like a ghost town if we don’t use the e-mail addresses here of people who were the most active posting messages here before it went down near the end of 2023, such as Jazzbo, and alert them that this place is finally back up again. Jazzbo & others here may not even know that this site is working again, so to be sure about it, we should at least try to contact them and invite them back up here. Anyone agree or disagree?

      • Until someone replies to address this issue, I don’t know whether I should post messages here, in the Facebook group, or possibly even both.

For example, has anybody heard the new Cream 1CD “Live in Dallas 1968” (Alive the Live label)? Could it possibly be a new soundboard or radio broadcast, or would it likely just be the same mediocre audience recording that’s been released unofficially? I don’ t know much about the Alive the Live label, which I’m not even sure is official or unofficial, but I have a 2 or 3 Van Halen recordings of theirs that are awesome, and their other releases supposedly tend to be of excellent quality. Anybody know anything?

        • You may check the new Cream release on YouTube:

Alive The Live seems to be a Japanese leg of the European “broadcast” labels. They usually put out good (and rare) sources, but their mastering is somewhat heavy-handed.
