***Bob Dylan Unravelled Tales***

The next blockbuster Bob Dylan release will be Unravelled Tales.  This is on Hollow Horn’s “Encore” label and contains, for the very first time, the complete October 26th, 1963 Carnegie Hall concert.  The sound quality is outstanding, truly even better than Encore’s Town Hall tape on Stolen Moments.  The complete set list is:

Disc 1:  The Times They Are A-Changin’, Ballad Of Hollis Brown, Who Killed Davey Moore?, Boots Of Spanish Leather, Talking John Birch Paranoid Blues, Lay Down Your Weary Tune, Blowin’ In The Wind, Percy’s Song, Seven Curses, Walls Of Red Wing

Disc 2:  North Country Blues, A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall, Talking World War III Blues, Don’t Think Twice It’s All Right, With God On Our Side, Only A Pawn In Their Game, Masters Of War, The Lonesome Death Of Hattie Carroll, When The Ship Comes In

  1. The advance sampler copy given out with No Direction Home was for the EP that was later released with six songs from Carnegie Hall. As far as I know, the entire show was considered for full release as part of the Bootleg series but was turned down and there are no plans at this time.

  2. Is there any buzz about an official release of Carnegie Hall? Some (Dylan Web site) buyers of the “No Direction Home” set in 2005 received a bonus disc of six Carnegie tracks in a separate sleeve. That CD had “advance sampler copy” stamped on the disc, leading to speculation that Carnegie could be the next Bootleg Series release.

  3. Awesome news! It’ll be tough to top Stolen Moments so I’m really looking forward to the arrival of my copy of this one!
