new Godfather titles for May

The new additions to the Godfather catalogue include Pink Floyd An Italian Tale (GR 735/736), the silver pressed debut for the June 19th, 1971 show in Brescia, Italy.

Neil Young One Of The Very Best Performances (GR 737) features the February 27th, 1971 show at the Royal Albert Hall in London.  This is one of the very best Neil Young performances on tape (hence, the title).

Iron Maiden London Blaze (GR 738/739) features the December 8th, 1988 show at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, England.  It looks like a great slice of NWOBHM!

U2 Real Life On A Cloud (GR 740) covers the November 14th, 1981 Boston show from a pre-FM soundboard recording.  This is the first time this excellent show has been pressed onto silver disc.

Noel Gallagher’s Flying Birds Used To Be In A Band Called Oasis (GR 741/742) is a comprehensive two disc collection with acoustic and electric shows, radio and TV appearances, and an outtake titled “Alone In The Rope.

And finally, Bruce Springsteen My Home’s Here In These Meadowlands (GR 743/744) has the April 4th show from the Izod Center in the Meadowlands, New Jersey.

  3. It’s another wonderful month of releases from the Don. The Floyd, the Young, The Springsteen are all on my wants list but I hear that they’re also repressing the Stones “Goats Head Soup Outakes” release from last month, David Bowie’s “Toy” and the John Fogerty “Hoodoo” release ( Handy as I missed that one the last time around )
