The newest Godfather box set looks quite spectacular. Kiss The Lost Tapes (GR BOX 12) is a monster of a box with four double CDs in individual triple gatefold sleeves, a fully illustrated sixteen page booklet with liner notes and two double sided replica posters from the cancelled summer tour in 1980.
Kalifornia Assassins / Eternal Devastation contains the May 31st, 1975 Long Beach show and the March 21st, 1976 show in Miami.
Some Lights, Some Magic / Gods Of Thunder, Lords Of Light contains the January 27th, 1978 show in Springfield, Massachusetts and the August 6th, 1979 show in Montreal.
Viking Blood / At Midnight cover the October 10th, 1980 show in Gotheburg, Sweden and an August 8th, 1975 recording from Providence when they were supporting Black Sabbath.
Howling In The Shadows / Thunder Rock has the December 31st, 1982 show in Rockford, Illinois and various odds and ends including the August 4th, 1974 show in South Bend, IN when Kiss supported Blue Oyster Cult, “Makin’ Love” from Cleveland, 1979 and a recording of “Shandi” from Australia.

fabulous box set as usual from godfather,they have really raised the bar for packaging.oh and the musics great also.
Wel got the boxset in now and have been spinning the discs…. just wow. Great shows very good+ to excellent quality.
Highlights are Long Beach 75, Miami 76, both way better that the earlier Bondage releases and Rockford 82.
Also the Springfield 78 and South Bend 74 show are true gems. I never understood why these weren’t released before. Even though South bend got a very limited vinyl release earlier this year this CD release is simply a KISS fan’s dream come true.
With all previous releases and both Boxsets Godfather has covered a big part of live KISStory from 1974-1983, the original make-Up years. I guess it is time they start to fork out some more 1983-1995 stuff after the the excellent While The City Sleeps release. Keep them coming!
Godfather doesn’t stop… this looks amazing! Curious about the 75 and 76 shows as well, quality wise. very interesting, keep them coming!

Especially the 79 and 82 shows are intruiging!
