I have several versions of the Montreux 1971 Floyd recording, unfortunately I have no plans on buying this latest version

With the demise of the Yeeshkul group, it will be interesting to see where Sigma goes with their Floyd releases. I wish the label would have focused more of the 1967-1969 recordings more. While they released a handful of titles featuring music from this era, there was definitely recordings that they should have considered.

    • Yes – I agree. But didn’t Yeeshkul, which I think would make a great name for a dog or cat, shut down as far back as the end of February?

      • Unfortunately it did – Though thankfully, that hopefully opens a few more doors for the bootleggers that count.

That new Sigma 317 is one I’m very much looking forward to. Even the front cover (artwork) alone is exciting.

    • As for Sigma 317…WOW…I don’t remember this show ever sounding so awesome in terms of sound quality! So clear, crisp, & clean…almost as if it were an SBD. I certainly have absolutely no regrets at all for ordering Sigma 317.

      • Somebody here may disagree, but I actually think Sigma 317 deserves an “ULTIMATE SOUND” rating rather than the “TRULY PERFECT SOUND” description that Lighthouse used. I don’t think it can be upgraded to noticeably any better. Sigma had already released their “Definitive Montreux 1971” 4CD (2 different “definitive” versions) way back in 2015 ( https://www.discogs.com/release/7840670-Pink-Floyd-Definitive-Montreux-1971 ).
