Several interesting new releases came out today. Whitesnake Python Magnum (Calm & Storm 023) is a four disc set with the February 22nd and 23rd, 1983 shows at the Budokan in Tokyo.
Cozy Powell Special Rock Drum Seminar (Calm & Storm 024) features Science Hall, Tokyo, Japan on May 10th, 1980.
Wild Horses Heavy Ride (Calm & Storm 026) features October 29th, 1980 show at at Sun Plaza, Tokyo, Japan.
Deep Purple Rome 1971 (Darker Than Blue 159/160) is a two disc set covering the May 25th evening show at the Palasport in Rome.

I see this new Whitesnake 4CD features the same shows as the Ex SB ‘Budokan 1983 – Monitor Mix’ (2CD Langley-285) and VG+ audience ‘Armed Forces’ 2CD (2CD Shades-099), being the 22nd and 23rd respectively. Has anyone heard ‘Python Magnum’, and can say how it compares? Thanks, in hopeful advance.
Only just picked this up the second night has a very good SQ the first night sounds slightly more distant bit still very listenable.I have only heard the monitor mix CD so can not compare on other releases but its nice to have this CD set by Miacle Man well worth getting.
