The Dog N Cat label released The Rolling Stones Sympathy For Slowhand (DAC-075).  This contains the new tape source for the Madison Square Garden, New York show on June 22nd, 1975 featuring Eric Clapton jamming with the band on “Sympathy For The Devil.”  This also contains two bonus tracks featuring Clapton’s studio sessions with the Stones that week in New York.

  1. I just got Led Zeppelin “The Legendary Boston Tea Party Tapes Vol. 1” Empress Valley (EVSD-498/499) and to my ears this does sound like an upgrade compared to “Masters Of Excess” (The Symbols?) and “Complete Boston Tea Party” (ARMS). I noticed that a 2nd gen has recently been torrented so it’s possible this is the source however it’s nice to have this upgrade on silvers. I may submit a full review if time permits.
