George Harrison – All Things Must Pass: Unreleased DCC 24K Gold Disc & Nimbus Remastered Version (no label) is a 4CD set featuring two versions of George’s masterpiece. Discs 1 & 2 come from an “Unreleased DCC 24K Gold Disc – DCC Compact Classics Remastered by Steve Hoffman” with Discs 3 & 4 sourced from the “Nimbus Remastered Version – Taken from the original UK CD (EMI CDS 7 46688 8, CD-STCH 639)”. Two versions are being released, each with different cover art.
This limited edition of 50 sets features alternate cover art (Face Cover) and is already being reported as “Out Of Stock”.
Aerosmith – Central Park 1975 Soundboard (Zodiac 555) is a single disc stereo soundboard recorded at the Schaeffer Music Festival, Central Park, New York, NY on August 29th, 1975 and has been “Remastered by Graf Zeppelin”.
Thin Lizzy – Definitive Philadelphia 1977 (Zodiac 554) is a 2CD stereo soundboard from the Tower Theater, Philadelphia, PA on October 20th, 1977 and has also been “Remastered by Graf Zeppelin”.
The Clash – Oakland 1982 (Wardour-532) is a single disc from Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland, CA on October 23rd, 1982.
Kiss – Calgary 1985 Soundboard (Zodiac 551) is a 2CD stereo soundboard from Stampede Corral Arena, Calgary, AB, Canada on March 3rd, 1985.
Kiss – New Jersey 1985 Soundboard (Zodiac 552) is a 2CD stereo soundboard from Brendan Byrne Meadowlands Arena, East Rutherford, NJ on March 29th, 1985.
Kiss – Erie 1986 Soundboard (Zodiac 553) is a 2CD stereo soundboard from Erie Civic Center, Erie, PA on March 27th, 1986. All three Kiss releases are listed as “New Source”.

This new reissue of ‘All Things Must Pass’ looks very promising. Both DCC and Nimbus have a good reputation for remastering classic rock albums (I have a Nimbus vinyl copy of little Feat’s
1977 album ‘Time Loves a Hero’ which sounds superb!), and this Harrison release seems particularly appropriate given the negative reaction by many fans to the recent official remixed version of the album. It looks like this no label effort may provide two superior sonic perspectives on this record.
Just a small correction. The Little Feat LP mentioned above is a Nautilus pressing – not Nimbus – but from what I understand, the two labels produce audiophile pressings of a similar quality.
