Emerson, Lake & Powell – Madison Square Garden 1986 (Virtuoso 276/277) is a 2CD set from Madison Square Garden, New York, NY on September 20th, 1986. If the catalog number for this looks familiar it’s because it was used for Tour ’86 (Virtuoso 276/277). Originally this was an unidentified show but it appears the mystery has been solved…same disc times and virtually the same artwork. There was a CDR release claiming to be from MSG but has now been proven to be incorrect.
Speaking of Eric Clapton, by any slight chance would anybody have a not-so-expensive version of Eric Clapton’s show at the Ritz in New York City, USA on November 23rd, 1986, featuring Keith Richards on “Layla” & “Cocaine”, on factory-pressed original silver? I say “not-so-expensive” because the rather expensive prices that they tend to go for is really the only thing that has scared me away from pursuing the show. So any help at all will be greatly well-appreciated. Thanks…and you can e-mail me at xyzXYZee “at” aol “dot” com
