  2. It was my understanding that the old layout with the black background was causing some issue (slow loading and time out errors for some readers). While nothing is carved in stone yet, the new look will definitely take some getting used to and I am sure things will need tweaking to see what works and what doesn’t. Please continue to leave comments, both positive and negative, so the administrators can see everyone’s thoughts and better understand what the subscribers are looking for.

  3. i really don’t mean to offend anybody, but who made the latest changes to this site, and more importantly, why? especially, why can’t we see who is the author or writer of each review or news announcement? and why can we see only 5 of the latest comments rather than 10, which is what it used to be for a good while until somebody unfortunately had the not-so-great idea to reduce it to just 8?

i really have to say that i used to really enjoy what a great site we used to have here, but now, after the latest changes, it may no longer be worth one’s time, although i respect that others may disagree. i’m seriously having to consider no longer coming here anymore, unfortunately, esp. as it seems that the moderators here who run this place don’t appreciate anything i say and/or dislike me, as several times over the years they’ve deleted messages of mine as well as those of somebody i know well who used to be an important contributor here, maybe by their careless error or mistake, but completely unapologetically each & every time…even after we’ve politely inquired or complained about it. again, no offense intended to anybody, but this site seems to be turning into a rather sad place to visit, very unfortunately!

    • My apologies if you feel slighted by the dismissal of your comments, Axman. Had I have realised that your comments had gone missing I would have responded and had them reinstated. As Wgpsec has mentioned, it’s certainly not out intention to not include anyones comments positive or negative and may well have been over looked when the site was plagued by trackback comments which were popping up almost 30 – 40 times a day.
I’ll pass your comments on to the sites owners who will be more than happy to look at each and every comment made and we will try to react with positive changes – It’ll always happen with snagging and let me reassure you, we are listening.

    • I agree with Careful Axeman Eugene, As much as I love this site and appreciate all the work that is put into it this new look and design is for the birds! Very hard to navigate, doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to layout, it’s all over the place, Bring back old layout!!!!!

  4. @Careful Axeman – I don’t know why anybody would delete your post. I know that the site had some issues with all the trackback comments that were being left so I can only assume if one or more of your posts were deleted it was probably by mistake.

    • thankx for clearing that up, but since i’ve already had 2 messages of mine deleted in a period of just a couple months or so, shouldn’t the moderators in charge of approving the messages here try to be more careful?

anyway, as for that Waters/Clapton release, i noticed on the Lifehouse site that not only are the total playing times of both discs exactly the same as those of Sigma 94, but also there’s nothing whatsoever said about it being an upgrade in any way at all, which they would surely advertise it as being if it actually in fact were. even the title is exactly the same, as only the artwork is different, so it must be just a musically identical re-issue or re-release (i can’t remember how they’re defined differently). furthermore, i recently discovered a site that says that the release of Sigma 131 is due to the fact that Sigma 94 was such a popular, quick sell-out

  5. as for the Waters/Clapton “Gunner’s Dream” release, i have some stuff to share about it, as well as some other releases, but there may not be any point to doing so, since it seems that the people running this site who moderate all the submitted messages/comments/questions here really don’t like what i post, for whatever reason, as i already tried to share some stuff about the Waters/Clapton “Gunner’s Dream” release more than a week ago, but my whole entire message got deleted. and apparently the same thing happened several weeks ago when one of the 3 or 4 messages that i submitted one night several weeks ago never showed up either. again, i have some stuff to share, but what’s the point if the whole thing could very well just get deleted without any indication whatsoever as to what’s wrong with it. i have some suspicions about what it likely was, but i really wonder if it was so wrong or bad, was it really necessary to delete my WHOLE ENTIRE message?
