Not long after the release of the two Japanese shows, news has launched from the HMC gang of their second ‘Let It Be / Get Back’ release, already pencilled in for release prior to the 1966 sets, now the covers have been made public.
Heralded as proofs to the proper release, HMC seem to have had their sleeves leaked and have announced no concrete date for release just yet (They need to work on the wording for the track list first).
It seems like your copies of Picture Perfect’s ‘Winter Of Discontent’ are safe on their shelves though. There appears to be very little cross over between the two versions – albeit a couple of upgrades on this new HMC 2 DVD set.
An exciting release as it is designed as a ‘supplement to the (original HMC upgrade)’ the first disk is newly discovered outtakes, snippets from the ‘Long And Winding Road’ film (!) and promo material from the ‘Let It Be .. Naked’ album.
The second disk features a collection of ‘Get Back’ footage used within promo films throughout the years through 1970 to 2015.
The crew also bring us their first CCC release in a while, a recording of the Paul McCartney concert in Prague at the O2 Arena on the 16th of June, 2016.
